Updates
Well... I'm homeworkless because I'm sort of done with everything I can be bothered to do. Will take the night off to read. I've been building up perhaps too much of a rep. It's starting to bug me. (Us misanthropes would rather people not be too aware of our existence) Conclusion from the weekend: since I save on rent and no car, I really ought to indulge in my book-buying habits.
Crossing my fingers and hoping that all my scurrying around to enroll in more units will work out.
Also, told my board that I had a fiance just... half an hour ago, I suppose. Wonder how they'll react to that email.

Hmm. I don't know about GIC, but according to MOE's contract terms, you're not allowed to get married in the duration of your study abroad. Although, I think that even if a similar clause exists in yours, you shouldn't have a problem because engagement is not a legally binding contract, and therefore it doesn't exist. (Actually, I don't know. I heard somewhere before that as much as a verbal understanding between two people constitutes a contract, but I really don't know the odds for a case of sueing someone for claiming to marry you and then not. You would be better off asking our NUS Law friend.)
Now OTOH, how your scholarship officer will react on a personal level is a totally different matter. Oh, I assume that's which board you're referring to.
That was indeed the board I was talking about. She hasn't reacted. I mean, she replied to the email (because there was other stuff in there as well) but my pending marital status was not mentioned. *wry grin*
