Full House
A glance at my whiteboard says it all. I'm full up on work, maxed out and in deep doo-doo. Somehow everything's conspired to make right now an extremely busy period. Good news for every one else, though - Mom's out of the hospital and seems to be recovering well and C's got her job. Other good news is that I somehow survived my ME midterm - hurrah for B being such nice grader. ;P (though he did pepper by scrip with "???"s he still gave me points for bizarre working) Now Prof S is going to make it a take home final, so that's one thing less to worry about at the end of the day...
Many thanks, hugs and kisses to C who hosted me over Thanksgiving - ah, and I am paying for relaxing so much now! Also to M and the other C, who were sweet and a wave to J whom I only saw for one day...
Cool thing on the plane as I was landing in Philly - saw the shipyards and drydocks. The steel bones of a ship as it came together on the scafolding, another vessel floating in a neighbouring pen as the shipwrights finished up the superstructure. There's something about the romance of big ships that gets me, even after all these years.
Am embarrassed by my reputation - it seems to hound me. Apparently people still remember 2 semesters ago when I corrected a prof loudly during a midterm review. Eep! I guess I should try to keep a lower profile.
Alrighty, then. Work, or something much like it...
