Final run on the exams.... Tommorrow's my last set of midterms for the semester, and I feel calm. I'm done, as far as I want to be, anyway, with revision, so take a deep breath. Two tests tommorrow, and then it's time to focus on other things... Like the huge backlog of homework I've built up. No rest for the wicked indeed!

On a side note, I've been reading The Lone Drow for a bit now, and everytime I see Obould Many Arrows show up, I keep thinking "didn't I kill you in Neverwinter Nights?" Like, didn't happy little 6 int, 6 cha ftr/bar 4/14 Graz Elfsquisher squish Obould a long time back? Jeeze, killing him was easy... All you needed was a handy-dandy Vampric greatsword (Talon of Chaos! Yay!) and 22 strength. SPLAT! Dead orc! Getting past his stupid drow guards was harder than killing him... But anyway, as another aside, isn't it annoying when game related fiction keeps using game terms? Like if spell names keep showing up in the middle of D&D novels? That really detracts from the book, takes away something from the feel of the world. I'm a Drizzt fan, but the last several books seem to be turning into one long piece of melodrama interspersed with wildly implausible fight scenes. Still, I grew up with it, so chalk one up to the power of brand loyalty. Frankly, if I had a choice, I want another Artemis Entreri book like Servant of the Shard, because Entreri really does seem to have a lot more room to grow as a character right now. Wonder if we'll ever see him around... Still, considering that Salvatore's books seem to be turning into a form of soap opera, I wouldn't be so suprised if he showed up again.
