people are going to die. in this case it's the idiots who programmed solidworks "the leader in solid modelling." it will be from natural causes - suicide being natural when i force them to design structural works with their crappy program.
some background on this: last thursday i was in the lab for 5 hours straight doing a weekly assignment that should have been possible to complete in 2. this weeks solidworks work was the "short thanksgiving holiday" version. we spent 5 hours working on it and are still stuck. this does not make sense. for the first, what? 10 weeks of the course, we could all finish homework on time. last week most of the course didn't finish and decided to drop the "hard" assignment (we get to drop the lowest grade), but this week's is just as fustrating... so i forsee dropped work, since most haven't started on this just yet. and it took me 4 hours to finish only half of it!

actually, instead of using cut and paste rants, i should just go and smash something. that usually makes me feel better. sometimes i feel that i'm slightly like the nac mac feagle: i feel just a little more cheerful after starting a fight. but sadly, assualting random people is a crime, so i'm stuck without options for the time being. *grrr*
ANYWAY.
The good thing is that we actually acheived something vis-a-vis our e28 project today. it's nearly done and i am very, very pleased with what we've acheived. we'll be done by the end of the week, or early into the next, thanks to thanksgiving break, but no mad rush, unless it's the mad rush to decorate the thing. you know it's good when you're debating how do attach spotlights to the design and whether x-mas tree lights make a good decoration.
a summary of life since friday:
i did indeed play warcraft. i am starting to see a link between warcraft and lack of sleep. to wit: i can't sleep when playing warcraft. 2 solutions present themselves: either play less warcraft or play enough so i get good enough to play in my sleep.
whoops. nessa called. gtg.
