As usual, the universe seems to want to keep Nessa and me apart. This time round it seems cheap flights between Singapore and Perth are few and far between. It looks like we'll settle for a rather expensive trip (though not the really expensive $900 one). To everybody who intends to see me in Singapore: I suspect I'll leave as soon as I arrive, but that I'll be back early because getting a standby in early Jan is much harder than just before Christmas. So, I shall be seeing you folks around, though not nearly as long as I would like.
