I'm all out of snappy titles
That's not the news, though. There's the good, the bad and the annoying.
The good: I have done my laundry. Amazing.
The bad: Speaking to the business school folks today, they refused to flatly deny my entry chances. In fact, they were vaguely encouraging. I would have preferred a strong affirmative or negative response. I think the fact that I have a job waiting was impressive, and so was the fact that I want to do stochastic calculus. I don't think I impressed with my motivations ("its my job, isn't it?"). Should have prepped myself first. Then again, since they don't know my name, who cares? Why is a conditional yes bad? Because it means I have to graduate this year, which means summer school, which means I won't see a certain someone. And if I don't get into business school (and it's not likely that I will), then I won't see her for any significant time for a whole year. This sucks absolutely.
The annoying: college of engineering emailed me today reminding me I need a petition to overload on classes and would I please submit one soon? Well, I did that last semester, damnit. And if I go and ask for another one, someone will have my head because I deviated from the plan I submitted big time.
Oh, and of the list at the end of yesterday's post, all I managed to do was harrass the B-school people. Stupid resume and cover letter took too damn long to do. Will try to make a mark on the homework pile tonight, though. Argh.
