*pant* *pant* Gardner main stacks! the stacks! the stacks!
went down to the main berkeley stacks today to do a little bit of practical anthropology, watching people walk around. (my rhetoric teacher's an anthropologist) the stacks are HUGE. and they've got a crapload of rare and old stuff. lying in the open! how could they?! some of those books seriously deserve to be kept under glass, not in the open where idiots end up underling and annontating them!

ugh! the horror! the pain!

it's a bibliophile's paradise. the place smells perfect. *sigh* think i'll start hanging around down there just to get more of the smell from now on.
