Movies and... Bed!
I just bought a new bed. Queen sized. Woot! Its huge! Also new sheets and comforter for it. Wonderful! And since its on box springs rather than the rather iffy legs my old bed was on, I can jump on it without fear of the bed falling apart. Its rather liberating.
'Twas confessing to various folks that I want to cut down of work this semester. But I always say that. Nevertheless, this time, a plan is indeed brewing in my mind, it shall all be revealed eventually. Either that or I'll collapse into a whirlwind of indecision, as usual. *grin*
Purchasing Call of Duty and the expansion pack. Am looking forward to a plot-based shooter. Think its something like what WWII was like for Wolverine. After all, the player in CoD has a "healing factor"...
Movies! Yes. Saw "Underworld: Evolution". Plot was complete and utter hogwash. Terrrible, terrible plot. Ham acting. Special effects weren't too cool either. But, the movie's all about eye-candy after all. I don't know about Scott Speedman - he's a little too tall and lean for my tastes. Kate Beckinsdale, is however, extremely hot. (Also noting that the "first" movie I saw her in was Much Ado About Nothing, which was 10 years ago. She doesn't really look like she's aged... Must be all that youth elixir cosmetic stuff... ) On balance, I don't think seeing Beckinsdale in the buff really saves this movie despite what I've heard. I mean, maybe I have too high standards for fight scenes involving superhuman individuals or something (I mean, for goodness' sake, if you're super-strong surely you can carry a bigger set of guns!) but the fight scenes weren't that good. Also, Speedman's character in hybrid form always looked like a were-dog to me.
Also, saw trailer for "Imagine me & You." Looks like a Brit version of "Kissing Jessica Stein." Since KJS is my favourite movie, I guess I don't have a choice but to see this one. *grin* Just don't know anyone who'd be willing to see it with me. My male friends know that I have a weakness for romantic comedies, but somehow I doubt they'd watch one with me. Add the fact that romantic comedies are "date" movies, and its hard to go with girls.

Drag along a couple *grin* That's what my friend did when Love Actually came out in Japan. He was like, I wanna watch this but my girlfriend is in Sweden, so you two (not me) come with me. I laughed so hard when I heard about it.
Oops, just realised that Imagine Me and You is a lesbian movie. So maybe scratch that couple idea. Or maybe you could bring a lesbian couple.
well drag along a girl who likes girls. :-p no romantic inclinations and she'd prob want to check it out anyway.
