Bored/Tired
Up all night with weird (and not so happy dreams, but they were getting kookier and thus less scary) and now I can barely keep my eyes open. Damn jetlag.
Am feeling a little burned out on the school front. A little bit ornery. Pfft to all the fresh-faced freshmen with hope in their hearts, etc.
Feel a little better looking at all the cool DeCals this semester. I don't see "Godzilla" up there yet, but there's things like:
"Stage Combat: From Slaps to Swords"
"Elvish"
Oh, and C, I now know what a kernel is. Why didn't you just say it was a nullspace?
And for the meme:
1. Your wallet -- what kind?
Something leather from Country Road. A gift from my dearest love. Sadly, it is falling apart, and since I never replace these things... *hint, hint*
2. Your handphone -- what kind?
Nokia brick. Free with plan. Rather rugged. I like Nokias because they're so hard to destroy, which shouldn't be a surpise, knowing me. Its pretty small, but dense, so I guess if I stuffed it in a sock it might make a half decent weapon too. Its got no frills. Phone/SMS/MMS receive/no send since no camera. But what the heck. Free. *grin*
3. Any accessories on your phone?
Nope.
4. Do you carry an organiser?
No. Unless you count my writing on my hand. Or on little sheets of paper I carry around.
5. Tell us about your bag!
Got three too.
1) Backpack, for when I go to school. Had to go to Beach Road and ask for the most rugged backpack they had... The last one had a whole strap snap off on me. Yes, I carry lots of stuff... Backpack is dull green, with black and yellow bits. Semi-waterproof.
2) Ikea sling bag, black. For when its just 1-2 notebooks, and maybe a file. Has space for my Nalgene and umbrella too.
3) Army-style scout bag, black. For when its just water, novel and umbrella or stuff like that.
I hate my sling bags these days. They rug against the scars on my chest and irritate the hell out of them.
6. What's inside your bag?
1L small neck (and thus large body) Nalgene. Clear, colourless lexan for that "lab flask" look. But its bulletproof. *grin*
Also have 1 small umbrella, spring loaded.
Inhaler.
1 novel, usually.
Stapler
Pencil case. (The new one is an old toiletries bag and thus has space for my TI 89, TI30X, and tons of pencils. Size and weight of an average housing brick.
Notebooks, files, etc.
Everything else (iPod, wallet, keys, etc go into my pockets)
7. Three things you MUST HAVE at all times.
One: Ring. (But its pretty attached. Does it even count?)
Two: Glasses. (But its pretty much obvious too, isn't it?)
Three: Keys.
For non-obvious items:
Wallet.
iPod.
Cell.

2 Comments:
I wanna take the stage combat class, it sounds like fun! Sounds like it's a good thing you're not doing the freshman counselling thing this year, it seems your tolerance for stupidity has been drastically reduced. And I'm taking that hint on the wallet. *grin*
Darn, I was going to take it (the hint). And why was C talking to you about nullspaces and kernels??
