There's a Way, But there isn't a Will
Its a pretty dumb situation. I'm clear on approval for graduate school, my resume's killer and my the last hitches in my recommendation have evaporated. BUT I CAN'T WRITE THE STUPID PERSONAL STATEMENT!
Ahem, yes. I can't seem to express myself for the benefit of the admissions committee. I have mucho-mondo writer's block and its driving me insane. Have been "working" on the statement for two days straight and all I have is 700 words (of 1000) and a sinking feeling I need to restart from scratch. In comparison, last night I decided to do homework instead. Now its 9 in the morning and I've finished 1 assignment and an entire final project... Argh

Oh dear, poor thing. I recently helped to check the English on my friend's personal statement for an exchange to UC, and reading it made me wonder where all my youthful enthusiasm went.
